Intoweb Training has produced a Virtual Help Desk to provide company wide
software support on a
local Intranet. This means instead of phoning Support when needing help with
Windows or some
software, an employee can obtain all the required help using their browser.
There is so much to
know about computers, and it is impossible for everyone to know it all, after
all, most elements
of software are only used now and again. Now, Intoweb Training empowers
employees in all
aspects of their computer. Better-equipped employees are more productive
employees.
Look at what the Virtual Help Desk
offers:
- Easy and direct access to exactly the training needed
- No theory, just the practical steps are shown
- All training is provided visually, no reading of loads of text
- Each training step is clear and dummy proof
- Teaching is provided as if a human is teaching
- Voice is optionally available to audibly tell the browser what to do.
- The software is replicated in Intoweb Training technology so that all
training is provided as if the software itself is being used.
- Each element of training is catalogued
- A comprehensive built in search engine helps find solutions quickly
- A fast interface allows finding your specific solution quickly
- Totally interactive: type in text, click checkboxes, radio buttons,
etc
The great thing though, is that all modules can be customized to exact
requirements for your company.
For instance, should you perform a task in a certain way, then the VHD can be
customized to depict
the exact layout, format and procedure used.
Version two of the training system will be finished
by July, having the following extra features:
- Four modes will be available instead of the current one.
- A mode that teaches as described above.
- A mode that does not need user interaction, that can be used to
demonstrate to a group
- A mode that allows the user to practice in a safe environment
- A mode that tests the proficiency of a user.
- Web enabled. Download fixes and new sections from over the web
- Available in three languages:
- Better graphical look and feel
- Use of the flash technology
- DHTML cursor movement
- Enabling of the right mouse button and key trapping
- Glossary, to explain any technical words not understood
